Material Alterations of the Proposed Variation No.1 of the CDP
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 58 (13) of the Planning and Development Act 2024 (as amended), Leitrim County Council has prepared Proposed Material Alterations to Proposed Variation No. 1 of the Leitrim County Development Plan 2023-2029.
All documents relating to the proposed Material Alterations are available to view below.
The proposed Material Alterations, SEA Environmental Report, SEA Screening Determination, AA Screening Report, AA Screening Determination and Strategic Flood Risk Assessment, will be on public display and may be inspected from Wednesday 5th August 2026 until Wednesday 2nd September 2026 inclusive (excluding weekends and public holidays) at the following locations during opening hours:
Leitrim County Councils now invite written submissions from interested parties in relation to the Proposed Material Alterations and associated documents before 4p.m. on Wednesday 2nd September 2026.
Only submissions made in respect of the Proposed Material Alterations and accompanying documents (including submissions relating to the likely significant effects on the environment of implementing the Proposed Material Alterations) will be taken into consideration before the making of the Variation. Submissions in relation to any other aspects of Proposed Variation No. 1 cannot be considered at this stage in the process.
Children or groups or associations representing the interests of children are welcome to make submissions.
Submissions received on the Proposed Material Alterations and accompanying documents will be taken into account before the variation of the development plan is made.
