A Residents Parking Permit is available only to residents who live within the pay parking area, have lived at the property since 2002, and do not have access to private parking
Applications for a Resident Parking Permit
To support your application for a Residents Parking Permit, you must provide evidence that the vehicle is ordinarily kept at the address for which the permit is being sought.
- Vehicle Registration Certificate (VRC) showing the vehicle registered at the address for which the resident permit is being sought (e.g. Main Street, Carrick-on-Shannon).
- Current Motor Insurance Certificate showing the same address and confirming that the vehicle is ordinarily kept at the address for which the resident permit is being sought.
- Recent Utility Bill (dated within the last 3 months) showing the applicant's name and residential address.
Please note: The address shown on all supporting documentation must match the address for which the Resident Parking Permit application is being made.
