Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme 2026/27

The Department of Rural & Community Development have announced the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme for 2026/2027 and Leitrim County Council now invites submission of Expressions of Interest for the Scheme. The focus of the Scheme will be to support outdoor recreational infrastructure and amenities in countryside areas across Ireland located near rivers, lakes and beaches, that provide an inclusive approach for communities to deliver outlets that support a diverse range of users, including people with disabilities and older adults.
