Temporary Road Closure - Tom Devaney Memorial Hillclimb

Roads Act 1993 / Temporary Closing of Roads
In accordance with the provisions of Section 75 of the above Act and Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, and for the purpose of facilitating the Tom Devaney Memorial Hillclimb. Notice is hereby given that Leitrim County Council proposes to make a decision to close the following public roads:

Dates:                           From 08:30 to 18:30 on Saturday11th July 2026 and from 08:30 to 18:30 on Sunday 12th July 2026

Locations:                   L-4260 from junction with R287 at Killananima to Five-Roads junction. L-4263 & L4264 Ballintogher road from junction with R289 at Drumconor Td. to junction with L-4252/L-4262

Alternatives:             From junction of L-4264 & R289 at Drumconor via R289 & R287. From junction of R287 & L-4260 via L4252. From Junction of L4263/L5252 via L4252

 Any persons aggrieved by this proposal to close the roads described may lodge an objection with the Director of Services for Economic Development, Regeneration, Sustainable Transport and Emergency Services, Leitrim County Council, Aras an Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim by email to roads@leitrimcoco.ie on or before 16:00 on Monday 22nd June 2026
