Road Closure for Manorhamilton Country Jamboree

Roads Act 1993 / Temporary Closing of Roads
In accordance with the provisions of Section 75 of the above Act and Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, and for the purpose of facilitating Manorhamilton Country Jamboree, notice is hereby given that Leitrim County Council proposes to make a decision to close the following public road:

Location:             Main Street, Manorhamilton

Date/Time:        From 15:00 on Saturday 25th July 2026 to 01:00 on Sunday 26th July 2026

Road Closed:     Regional Road R280-48, Main Street, Manorhamilton starting at the junction of the National Road N16 and Main Street (R-280-48) and finishing at the junction of Main Street (R-280-48) & Church Lane (L-6643-1)

Alternative:        No alternative route - follow existing road signs for diversions

Any persons aggrieved by this proposal to close the roads described may lodge an objection with the Director of Services for Economic Development, Regeneration, Sustainable Transport and Emergency Services, Leitrim County Council, Aras an Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim by email to roads@leitrimcoco.ie on or before 16:00 on Monday 6th July 2026.
