Stories in Stitches

Stories in Stitches is a Traditional Aran Knitting Project which aims to celebrate, revive and pass on traditional knitting practices in Leitrim to a wide audience through a variety of engaging activities and resources.

The project demonstrates the power of creativity, memory and heritage as individual stories get told through stitch. Read the project participants stories and see their finished knitted works here and listen to the project participants talk about their works here.
