Turning Vacant Properties into Cosy Homes
Leitrim County Council is hosting an Information Event to showcase the potential to transform vacant and derelict properties in County Leitrim into vibrant homes. The event, taking place on Thursday, 19th June 2025 from 3pm to 8pm in the Landmark Hotel, Carrick-On-Shannon, Co. Leitrim will also exhibit how to make existing homes warmer, greener and more energy efficient.
The Keynote Speaker on the day will be Award Winning Architect Hugh Wallace.
The event will open to the public from 3 p.m. with a formal launch of the event by the Cathaoirleach, Councillor Paddy O’Rourke to take place at 5.45 p.m. followed by a number of speakers and a panel discussion. Details of the event have been published in the local media, on the website and on the Council’s Social Media Channels. Colin Regan will act as the MC and Shannonside Radio will also be broadcasting live from the event.

There is no charge to attend and walk-in’s on the day are also welcome.
