CLÁR Funding Scheme 2026 - NOW OPEN
The Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht have announced CLÁR 2026 Funding. CLÁR provides funding for small infrastructural projects in rural areas that have suffered significant levels of population decline.
Funding for projects in Co. Leitrim will be available under the following measures:-
Measure 1: Developing Community Facilities & Amenities
Measure 1 will support a variety of capital projects provided that they contribute to the enhancement of existing, and/or the development of new, accessible Community Recreation Facilities, and therefore further build the resilience of rural communities.
Expressions of Interest under Measure 1 should be submitted to Leitrim County Council by 4pm Thursday 14th May 2026 at 4.00pm. Please email your application to clarfunding@leitrimcoco.ie
