Water Mains Rehabilitation Works from Toomans to Keshcarrigan

Roads Act 1993 / Temporary Closing of Roads
In accordance with the provisions of Section 75 of the above Act and Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, and for the purpose of facilitating Water Mains Rehabilitation Works from Toomans to Keshcarrigan. Notice is hereby given that Leitrim County Council proposes to make a decision to close the following public roads:

Temporary Closure No. 1
Dates:                   10th August to 18th September 2026
Location:             L3051 Keshcarrigan to Garvagh/Mohill Road in the townland of Keshcarrigan
Alternatives:     Diversions via the R209/L3051/L3433 & L3406

Temporary Closure No. 2
Dates:                   21st September to 23rd October 2026
Location:             The R209 Keshcarrigan to Fenagh Road in the townland of Keshcarrigan
Alternative:       Diversions via the R209/R210/R208/R202 & R209

 Local and Emergency Services Access will be maintained at all times.

 Any persons aggrieved by this proposal to close the roads described may lodge an objection with the Director of Services for Economic Development, Regeneration, Sustainable Transport and Emergency Services, Leitrim County Council, Aras an Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim or by email to roads@leitrimcoco.ie on or before 16:00 on Monday 20th July 2026
