Part 8 Planning Permission The Dock Plaza

Leitrim County Council propose to remodel and upgrade the plaza in front of the Dock in Carrick-on-Shannon. 

The proposed works would include the removal of the existing hard-standing plaza area to the front and side of the Dock and its replacement with a remodelled hard and soft landscaped space to include lighting, street furniture, signage, repair of existing limestone stone steps and any ancillary accommodation works. This development involves works within the curtilage of The Dock which is a Protected Structure (RPS No. 261) and is located in the Carrick-on-Shannon Architectural Conservation Area. The proposed development will not materially affect the character of the Dock or of the area concerned.
