Notice of Passing of Resolution - Local Property Tax

NOTICE OF THE PASSING OF RESOLUTION UNDER SECTION 20(2) OF THE FINANCE (LOCAL PROPERTY TAX) ACT 2012 (as amended)

LEITRIM COUNTY COUNCIL, Aras An Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim

In pursuance of the provisions of section 20 of the FINANCE (LOCAL PROPERTY TAX) ACT 2012 (as amended), I the undersigned, hereby notify the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage of the passing, of a resolution at a meeting of the above mentioned local authority on Monday September 7th 2026, to the effect that the basic rate of local property tax should stand varied upwards by twenty-five (25%) per cent for the years 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030, in respect of relevant residential properties situated in the local authority’s administrative area.
