Free Documentary Screening: Project Children “How to Defuse a Bomb”

Join us to celebrate the work of Project Children with a screening of an inspiring documentary – "How to Diffuse a Bomb – The Project Children Story".

The documentary portrays husband, Denis Mulcahy who worked with the bomb disposal unit of the NYPD & his wife Miriam O’Rourke, originally from Aughnasheelin, who along with others, founded the charity in 1975. The charity facilitated bring children from Northern Ireland to host families in the US over the summer holidays and the documentary follows the stories of several of the young people and host families before, during & after their trip.
