Leitrim county council in collaboration with dhb Architects Ltd are preparing design proposals for public realm enhancements at Bridge Street, Quay Road and pedestrian lane between Quay Road through Town Hall and on to Flynn’s Field Car Park at Carrick on Shannon. Leitrim County Council & dhb Architects are inviting the public to help shape the design proposals for public realm enhancements along Bridge Street, Quay Road and adjoining areas. The proposals aim to complete and consolidate the town centre public realm at this key gateway location to the town. The design approach will prioritise universal access, communal spaces and people centred streets that function as social spaces. A key design objective will be to respond to the existing site context and characteristics of the street and allow this to inform design proposals.

The design team seek your involvement to suggest improvements and outline priorities for the scheme, such as:
