Applications are now open for the Local Enhancement Programme 2026.

Leitrim County Council, as the Housing Authority for Leitrim currently has a requirement to provide additional housing units for households that are on the social housing list. The household requirements vary in size and need, with units required for persons with disabilities and age friendly.

The Council is launching an online survey for people who feel they may be eligible for an affordable home from the Council.

We are inviting expressions of interest from groups who would like to collaborate on exciting cross-community biodiversity projects.

Topographic and Hydrographic Surveys will take place from Tuesday, 20th  January 2026 for a period of four months.

Four Leitrim projects receive funding to the value of €966,801 in Carrick-on-Shannon, Carrigallen, Fenagh and Keshcarrigan

Proposed remodel and upgrade works to the plaza in front of the Dock, Carrick-on-Shannon, a Protected Structure.

Ongoing works are taking place on the L60991 at a bridge in Shesknan, Glenade. These works will ongoing until further notice. Leitrim County Council apologise for any inconvenience caused.
