Monitoring
“Under section 15(2) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) and as outlined under the Development Plan Guidelines for Planning Authorities 2022, the Planning Authority is required to give a report to the Elected Members on the progress achieved in securing the objectives of the Plan.
The Two-Year Progress Report demonstrates that in the two years since the making of the Leitrim County Development Plan 2023-2029, considerable progress has been made towards achieving the objectives contained in the Plan.
The Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Monitoring Report for the Leitrim County Development Plan 2023-2029 Two-Year Progress Review is also available for viewing. This Report is part of the overall SEA monitoring process being undertaken for the Leitrim County Development Plan 2023-2029.
In line with the Implementation and Monitoring provisions of the Leitrim County Development Plan 2023-2029, Core Strategy Monitoring Reports have been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Section 28 “Development Plans Guidelines for Planning Authorities”, which sets out a number of indicators to examine the progress made in achieving the objectives of the Core Strategy of the Plan.”
