Road Closure Proposal - Gortnawaun, Drumshanbo

Roads Act 1993 / Temporary Closing of Roads

In accordance with the provisions of Section 75 of the above Act and Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, and for the purpose of felling dangerous trees in Gortnawaun. Notice is hereby given that Leitrim County Council proposes to make a decision to close the following public road:

Location:             L-73141-0 in Gortnawaun, Drumshanbo

Dates:                   11th May to 29th May, 2026 (inclusive)

Alternative:       There are no alternatives but local access will be provided

Any persons aggrieved by this proposal to close the roads described, may lodge an objection with the Director of Services for Economic Development, Regeneration, Sustainable Transport and Emergency Services, Leitrim County Council, Aras an Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim on or before 16:00 on Monday 20th April 2026
