Are you part of a Community Group, Tidy Town Committee, Residents' Association or Local Initiative passionate about enhancing your local environment? We are inviting expressions of interest from groups who would like to collaborate on exciting cross-community biodiversity projects. This initiative aims to bring together communities to enhance local biodiversity, improve shared green spaces, and foster stronger community connections across multiple groups. Project ideas will be assessed by the PEACEPLUS Biodiversity Steering Committee who will look at pairing groups working in the same area on similar project themes.

Leitrim County Council, supported by PEACEPLUS, in partnership with the Dept. of Applied Social Studies, Maynooth University are offering delivery of a Certificate in Community Work in a Changing Ireland (NUI Level 7 Special Purpose Cert.) This project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
