ACTIVE TRAVEL SCHEME

This public Consultation period has now passed.
A non-statutory public consultation has taken place on the Active Travel Scheme, Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim.
The works involve the upgrading of existing facilities for cyclists and ancillary elements such as improvements for pedestrians. The primary objective is to improve facilities for cyclists in accordance with the guidelines published by the National Transport Authority (NTA).
Leitrim County Council have prepared the Section 38 Public Consultation Report and this report has concluded that the proposals should proceed. The decision to proceed has been formally recorded as a Chief Executive’s Order (Traffic Works Order)
