Temporary Road Closure - Leitrim Gathering

Roads Act 1993 / Temporary Closing of Roads
In accordance with the provisions of Section 75 of the above Act and Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, and for the purpose of facilitating The Leitrim Gathering, Notice is hereby given that Leitrim County Council has made a decision to close the following public roads:

Location: Main Street, Manorhamilton

Road Closed: Regional Road (R280), Main Street, Manorhamilton starting at the junction of the N16 and the R280 at the Sligo Road and finishing at the junction of the R280 and Church Lane (L2643-1)
Alternative: Travelling from Carrick on Shannon to Kinlough on the R280 turn right at the junction at Main Street (R280 and L2643-1), travel along upper Main Street (L2643-1) to the N16 roundabout, the left at roundabout onto the N16 along the New Line, turning right at the traffic lights onto the R280 at Castle Street and onto Kinlough.

Road Closed:     Regional Road (R280-24), from the west boundary of Drumkeerin Health Centre beside the junction of R280-23 with local road L4250-1 and finishing at the junction of the R280-25 with local road L4251-0
Alternative:       The R200-1, R200-2 (Dowra Road), to the junction of local road L4250-1, along the L4250-1 until its junction with the R280-23 (Carrick on Shannon Road).
