Roads Act 1993 / Temporary Closing of Roads
In accordance with the provisions of Section 75 of the above Act and Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, and for the purpose of facilitating The Tom Devaney Memorial Hillclimb in North Leitrim. Notice is hereby given that Leitrim County Council proposes to make a decision to close the following public roads:

Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th August, 2025
Locations:
L-4260 from junction with R287 at Killananima to Five-Roads junction L-4263 & L4264 Ballintogher road from junction with R289 at Drumconor to junction with L-4252 known locally as The Planting Road & L-4262 Ballintogher road
Alternatives:
From junction of L-4264 & R289 at Drumconor via R289 & R287 to Sligo From junction of R287 & L-3605 Ballintogher road & L-3605 Ballygawley road at Correagh, Co Sligo via R287, R289 & R280 to Drumkeeran.
Any persons aggrieved by this proposal to close the roads described may lodge an objection with the Director of Services for Economic Development, Regeneration, Sustainable Transport and Emergency Services, Leitrim County Council, Aras an Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim on or before 16:00 on Monday 4th August, 2025
