Temporary Road Closure - Newtownmannor

Roads Act 1993 - Temporary Closing of Roads
In accordance with the provisions of Section 75 of the above Act and Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, and for the purpose of facilitating Water Mains Replacement works for the Newtownmanor Extension Scheme in Newtownmanor, notice is hereby given that Leitrim County Council proposes to make a decision to close the following public roads:

Dates: 07:00 on Monday 7th July 2025 to 19:00 on Friday 26th September 2025 inclusive

Road Closed: L4153-1, at junction of R286-4,5, LP04153-1 & LP04157-1 at Sriff/Moneyduff to the junction of LP04153-1,2 & LS08154-0 at Lugalustran/Cornalaghta

Alternative: Diversion via L8154-0, R286-3 and R286-4

Note: Access for businesses and local residents will be maintained but may be limited by agreement to certain times.  Local and Emergency Services access will be maintained throughout the Scheme. All Traffic Management will be removed and the road re-opened for the August Bank Holiday Weekend.

Any persons aggrieved by this proposal to close the roads described may lodge an objection with the Director of Services for Economic Development, Regeneration, Sustainable Transport and Emergency Services, Leitrim County Council, Aras an Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim on or before 16:00 onMonday 16th June 2025
