Temporary Road Closure - Manorhamilton Country Jamboree

Roads Act 1993 / Temporary Closing of Roads
In accordance with the provisions of Section 75 of the above Act and Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, and for the purpose of facilitating Manorhamilton Country Jamboree, notice is hereby given that Leitrim County Council proposes to make a decision to close the following public road:

Location:         Main Street, Manorhamilton
Date/Time:     From 12 noon on Saturday 26th July to 3am on Sunday 27th July 2025.

Road Closed: Regional Road R280-48, Main Street, Manorhamilton starting at the junction of the National Road N16 and Main Street (R-280-48) and finishing at the junction of Main Street (R-280-48) & Church Lane (L-6643-1)

Alternative:     Travelling from Carrick on Shannon to Kinlough on the R280, turn right at the junction of Main Street (R280-48) and Church Lane (L-6643-1), travel along upper Main Street (L-2643-1) to the N16 roundabout, turn left at the N16 roundabout towards Sligo/Bundoran on the New Line travelling until the traffic lights and junction of the N16 and Castle Street (R-280-49), turn right at the traffic lights onto Castle Street (R-280-49) and onto Kinlough.

Any person aggrieved by the proposed decision to close the road described may lodge an objection with the Director of Services for Economic Development, Planning and Infrastructural Services, Leitrim County Council, Park Lane House, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, no later than 16:00 on Monday, 7th July 2025
