Temporary Road Closure - Leitrim Live N Loud

Roads Act 1993 / Temporary Closing of Roads
In accordance with the provisions of Section 75 of the above Act and Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, and for the purpose of facilitating the Leitrim Live & Loud Show, in The Market Square on Main Street, Manorhamilton. Notice is hereby given that Leitrim County Council proposes to make a decision to close the following public road:

Date:              28th June 2025 from 17:00 - 00:00
Location:      Main Street, Manorhamilton (R280), starting at the junction of the N16 and the R280 at the Sligo Road and finishing at the junction of the R280 and L2643-1 at Church Lane.
Alternative:  From Carrick on Shannon to Kinlough on the R280 turn right at the junction at Main Street (R280 and L2643-1), travel along upper Main Street (L2643-1) to the N16 roundabout, then left at roundabout onto the N16 along the New Line, turning right at the traffic lights onto the R280 at Castle Street and onto Kinlough.

Any persons aggrieved by this proposal to close the roads described may lodge an objection with the Director of Services for Economic Development, Regeneration, Sustainable Transport and Emergency Services, Leitrim County Council, Aras an Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim on or before 16:00 on Monday 9th June 2025
