Road Closure Proposal - Kilboderry, Summerhill, Ck on Shannon

Roads Act 1993 / Temporary Closing of Roads
In accordance with the provisions of Section 75 of the above Act and Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, and for the purpose of facilitating Uisce Éireann with Wastewater Mains Rehabilitation Works in Carrick on Shannon. Notice is hereby given that Leitrim County Council proposes to make a decision to close the following public road:

Location:           The L3413-0 in Kilboderry, Summerhill, Carrick on Shannon
Dates:                22nd September to 28th November 2025
Alternative:       All traffic will be diverted to the L3412, N4 & L3408 (known locally as the Castlecara Road) and back onto the L3413-0

Access for emergency vehicles will be accommodated at all times. Access for businesses and local residents will be maintained but may be limited by agreement to certain times.

Any persons aggrieved by this proposal to close the roads described may lodge an objection with the Director of Services for Economic Development, Regeneration, Sustainable Transport and Emergency Services, Leitrim County Council, Aras an Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim on or before 16:00 on Monday 1st September 2025
