Expressions of Interest for the provision of land for the purposes of developing a Social Housing Project under the Capital Assistance Scheme (CAS) in Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim.

Leitrim County Council proposes to deliver a Social Housing Scheme in Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim to meet identified social housing need in partnership with an Approved Housing Body (AHB).  Expressions of interest are now being sought from landowners that may have a suitable site available for the proposed development.

Preference will be given to proposed developments that are located within close proximity to shops, services and local amenities in Drumshanbo.  An Expression of Interest Form is available from the Housing Capital Office, Leitrim County Council by e-mailing amanda.hoey@leitrimcoco.ie or you may download the form from the link below.

Leitrim County Council will assess all valid applications submitted for the supply of a site for this scheme. The Council is not obliged to enter into a formal agreement to proceed with an Expression of Interest submitted under this scheme. In addition, Departmental approval must be sanctioned under the Capital Assistance Scheme in advance of a formal arrangement being entered into with a Developer and an Approved Housing Body to deliver this project.

Completed Expression of Interest forms & supporting documentation should be returned marked “Expressions of Interest – Proposal for supply of land for the purposes of developing a Social Housing Project under the Capital Assistance Scheme (CAS) in Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim” to the A/Senior Executive Officer, Housing Capital Office, Leitrim County Council, Aras-an-Chontae, Carrick on Shannon, Co.
