Link 2b Active Programme

Overview of Programme:

The link2BActive programme offers discounted rates for people who currently find themselves unemployed to avail of physical activity
opportunities in Leitrim.

Local sports facilities in Leitrim will be offering you the opportunity to use their facilities - golf clubs, equestrian centre, gyms, swimming pools
and adventure centre - at reduced rates. The Link2BActive programme, the brain child of South County Dublin Sports Partnership and supported
by the Irish Sports Council, is now being rolled out nationally across all Local Sports Partnerships to link in people who currently find themselves
unemployed with local facilities.

Eligibility:
- The Link2BActive programme is open to anyone who is in receipt of social welfare payment or signing for credits.

How it works:
- Call Leitrim Sports Partnership on 071-9650498 or email sports@leitrimcoco.ie to discuss your eligibility.
- We will arrange to meet you at the Leitrim Sports Partnership Office in Aras an Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim. Remember you
must bring evidence of social welfare payments or credits.

- If eligible, you will be issued with a Link 2B Active card by the Leitrim Sports Partnership, which will be valid until the end of December 2011.
- You can then present this card at participating facilities to avail of the reduced rates.
- Please note that you must sign in at each facility and pay their reduced rate.

- Please contact the facilities for their opening hours and note off peak hours apply in some facilities.
